â¢ In warmer weather for the holiday weekend, Salma Hayek and daughter Valentina got the VIP treatment at Miami's animal park, Jungle Island. Joined by Hayek's mother, the ladies took a guided walking tour of the grounds and checked out over 3,000 exotic animals. "After viewing the animals and birds, they were most fond of the kangaroos," a source tells PEOPLE. "There were so excited to see them."
â¢ Halle Berry had company in Paris - and not just new beau Olivier Martinez. The couple spent the day outside of the city with Salma Hayek and her daughter Valentina on the grounds of the actress's husband's family estate, Chateau de la Mormaire, which is just west of Versailles. The group, which also included Martinez's dog Sheba, strolled through the lawns and then sat down for lunch. The night before, Berry and Martinez hung out at Hayek's apartment in the city, before heading to dinner at Restaurant Thoumieux.
â¢ After sharing a sweet mother-daughter visit to Disneyland, Salma Hayek took daughter Valentina for some art appreciation at the Getty Villa museum in Malibu, Calif. The two were joined by family friends, and Hayek, in a sundress and flip-flops, snapped pictures of her daughter playing in the family room.
Valentina even got hands on with one interactive exhibit, drawing on vases with dry erase markers while Hayek proudly watched.
In mid-interview for a new movie last week, actress Salma Hayek suddenly shrieked and scrambled out of her seat, over the shoulders of co-star Maya Rudolph sitting next to her. Clutching frantically at Rudolph and another co-star, Maria Bello, she uttered a blood-curdling scream, "Somebody do something!" Bello, also clearly unnerved at the sight of something off-camera, comforted Hayek as she teetered on the arm of a director's chair in 4-inch heels. "It's OK," Bello repeated, "We got you. Don't worry."

• With daughter Valentina, 10 months, in arms, a fit Salma Hayek, checked out British artist Roni Stretch's exhibition at Canvas art gallery in Malibu. The actress followed up her art appreciation with a little food, hitting up nearby Taverna Tony's for lunch.
