Russian carmaker Marussia Motors has bought a significant shareholding in the Formula One team Virgin Racing, meaning the team will be renamed "Marussia Virgin Racing" for the 2011 season.
Formula One debutants Virgin Racing have been granted permission to increase the size of their fuel tank after finding out that it is too small to get to the end of some races.
Motor Sport's governing body, the FIA, have formally confirmed the entry list for the 2010 Formula One season -- with potential newcomers US F1 omitted from the grid.
